Eleanor lovin’ it!

Musician Eleanor McEvoy is loving being back in Wexford. Having over the years earned her yellow-belly stripes, she knows she is among friends here. And boy did they show her the love at her recent performances of Small Things Like These. Her partnership with actor Andrew Bennett in the Four Rivers production of Claire Keegan’s novel has produced unimagined synergies in bringing this simple, and simply brilliant, story to life. Not only have Eleanor and Andrew done justice to the work; they have ensured that it will endure as one of the classic Christmas stories. Small Things Like These is at The Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire this evening (Dec 19) and The Mermaid, Bray tomorrow.
