Eoin Colfer tips the hat to Billy Roche

Wexford Library hosts an interview by Tom Mooney with Eoin Colfer on June 04 (7pm) in which Eoin will discuss the influence early in his career of the playwright Billy Roche along with his own celebrated career as one of the bestselling novelists in the world. Roche is the sole subject of a month long celebratory series of events organised by Four Rivers, commencing with the first professional revival in Ireland of the play A Handful Of Stars at Wexford Arts Centre. Eoin, a Wexford Ambassador, is the author of Artemis Fowl, which was named the public’s favourite Puffin Modern Classic of all time: it has sold in excess of 25 million copies and been translated into 40 languages.
