Irish premiere of Isla by Tim Price
Four Rivers in partnership with Verdant Productions and The Civic Theatre will present the Irish premiere of Isla by Tim Price as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival. It will also visit Garter Lane Theatre in Waterford on October 12 and 13.
Described as a dark comedy about a widower and a talking device, it features Mark Lambert (Four Rivers’ Amongst Men) and Tina Kellegher (The Snapper). Isla is directed by Davey Kelleher.
Roger needs company and he doesn’t want a dog. When his daughter Erin buys him the latest Isla digital assistant, an unexpected relationship between man and technology emerges. But who’s really in control?
